Omar A. AlZuhiri

Omar A. AlZuhiri leads ZETCO, the Kuwait-based family business that has been operating since 1960. Inheriting the company and steering it with a clear growth vision since 2016, Omar has driven ZETCO’s regional and international expansion — extending operations and partnerships across Egypt, South Africa, Libya, Dubai, and into the United States (Texas). Under his leadership ZETCO has grown its capabilities across manufacturing, trading and supplying for multiple industries, including refinery and tank-farm services, storage/handling and repackaging of petrochemicals, base oils and solvents (white spirit, turpentine, mineral oils), refrigerants and antifreeze products, and laboratory/diagnostic chemical reagents. Omar is known for combining the company’s multi-decade family heritage with a strategic, export-focused approach that emphasizes quality, compliance and market diversification.
